How do I record a screen cap video of the iPad?

I'm looking for a method to record the video without actually filming the device. Does such a method exist?

	one way i've seen people do screencasts of an ipad or iphone is through the simulator app included with the Developer tools. I'm not sure if this would work in your situation, though. – gohnjanotis Jun 24 at 12:57
